To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, discover a series of special anniversary events and cultural outings for young and old alike, with family, friends or on your own – there's something for everyone!

On 1 June 2016, the Cité du Vin opened its doors to the general public in Bordeaux, and in 10 years, the Cité du Vin in figures is:
- More than 3.5 million visitors welcomed
- 180 nationalities
- Thousands of tasting workshops
- More than 750 cultural events
- More than 365,000 bottles tasted
- 10 art exhibitions
- and Via Sensoria
- 54 wine partners
- More than 150 patrons
- 10 galas to benefit the Foundation for Wine Culture and Civilisation
- Over 3,500 corporate events

A birthday weekend that promises to be festive!

Two days of festivities await you, with entertainment, tastings, family activities and much more!
On Saturday 6 June from 7pm to midnight, the 10th anniversary party with L'Orangeade, in the Gardens of the Cité du Vin.

The return of Via Sensoria: 100% Bordeaux edition
The Via Sensoria sensory tasting experience will reopen on 1 April 2026!
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cité du Vin, a new selection of drinks will be offered for the 2026 edition, with four Bordeaux wines taking centre stage!
Wine tastings are reserved for people over the age of 18; minors may taste non-alcoholic beverages.
➡️As a reminder, Via Sensoria is a soothing experience, a sensory interlude where four artistic worlds echo surprising tastings of four Bordeaux wines or non-alcoholic beverages, combined with visual, auditory, olfactory and poetic creations.
Photo exhibition: spotlight on our wine-growing partners
From 13 February to 31 December 2026, the Cité du Vin will host a photo exhibition paying tribute to the many wine partners who support us on a daily basis.
In this exhibition, discover the richness and diversity of the world's vineyards through an artistic journey!
Each photograph, selected by the partners themselves, is a unique work emblematic of their region: the power of a landscape, the presence of a gesture, the memory of a building, the life of a community.
A true ode to travel and wine heritage!
