Perched 35 metres above the ground, on the 8th and top floor of the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, the Belvédère is a fully glazed space offering a 360° panoramic view of the city and the Garonne.

More than just a viewing point, it is the highlight of a visit to the permanent exhibition: after exploring the cultures and civilisations of wine, enjoy a glass of wine – or two, depending on the ticket you’ve chosen – from vineyards around the world, or a non-alcoholic drink.

An unique experience in Bordeaux that combines cultural discovery, panoramic views and wine tasting!

An exceptional space at the top of the Cité du Vin

Even before taking in the view of Bordeaux, the Belvédère is well worth a look!

In this entirely glass-enclosed space, a monumental chandelier made up of thousands of bottles and a 10-metre-long oak bar add to the uniqueness of the venue.

With its Belvédère, the Cité du Vin symbolically asserts itself as a beacon and a window opening out onto the region and, beyond that, onto the world.
