Symposium: Is there a future for wine without culture?
To mark its 10th anniversary, the Cité du Vin a organised a public symposium to examine the role of culture in supporting change in the wine sector.
Culture plays a key role in the world of wine: it transmits knowledge, promotes heritage, opens up dialogue with local areas and inspires new narratives.
Discussions focused in particular on three key issues: enhancing the sector's appeal in a context of profound change, forging partnerships between culture, tourism, the wine industry and regional public policy, and renewing forms of mediation to support the ecological and societal transitions of wine.
Hosted and moderated by: Claudia FERRAZZI, founder and chair of the Viarte agency
Under the sarcastic gaze of cartoonist URBS
In partnership with: Iter Vitis, ANEV (National Association of Wine and Vineyard Elected Representatives), AREV (Assembly of European Wine-producing Regions)
Under the patronage of: the International Organisation of Vine and Wine – OIV
